A Firefly Algorithm-Based Approach for Web Query Reformulation

A major difficulty in using a web-based information retrieval system is the choice of terms to be used for expressing and processing query. The user has examine lot data find necessary documents or information. problem that often appears this situation query incorrect does not express those needs. Researchers have come up with various solutions overcome among them use reformulation. This paper presents an approach called FA-QR based on technique Firefly metaheuristic. algorithm was applied frequent itemsets generated by frequent- pattern growth (FP Growth). algorithmic solution allowed select best path all possible initial Experimentally, results demonstrated our proposed approaches achieved significant improvement over other different methods TREC FIRE datasets.
